Manuscript Edit – Candy Morrow – $3000

Description

As discussed, I’ll be “moving the furniture” in the first round of editing. I will make whatever structural changes I think need to be made and I’ll do a little line editing at the same time. My goal will be to reduce word count to under 100,000 and ideally within the 80,000-90,000 word range. But I will also focus on maintaining the integrity of the story.

I will also incorporate the factual information you’ve developed about intimate partner violence so that it flows more seamlessly with your story.

I will leave queries (the comments) explaining choices I’ve made and asking you to make whatever decisions you need to make.

During the edit, I’ll update you about changes I’ve made so that you can let me know if you have a concern before the edit is finalized.

After I’ve delivered the edit, we can have one or two video meetings as you go through my edit so that I can answer questions and we can work out any concerns that arise.
